My Story

Hi there, my name is Lazaro Francisco and I am an Australian-born Filipino who loves to train and has been since I was in Year 9! (Probably what stunted my growth, lol)

I have always been an active guy. My parents put me into Soccer at a young age, and my Dad used to train me and my brother calisthenics when we were in Primary, so we could stay in shape

During Highschool I took a temporary hiatus, till Year 9 where I met one of my mates little brother (1 year younger) who was ripped to shreds.

I ended up joining Fitness First in Parramatta to follow down the path to Aesthetics. I was young, naive but excited, and when I got that first pump from those weights, I was hooked.

This started a whole new world for me and threw me headfirst down the rabbit hole of nutrition, supplements and training hard as f*ck.

Years later, Fitness has become part of my identity. As I write this sentence, I am in that Winter Bulk Season, training 6x p/ Week, constantly trying to improve my diet.

My Mission Is To Help You Become Uncommon Amongst The Uncommon In Supplements, Nutrition & Training

How I Create Content

All the content you will find here has been researched, written and edited by me to ensure the highest quality standard. I do have a team of freelance writers who help me put articles together, but not without going through a checklist for high-quality assurance.

We did this to make sure that the info provided is accurate, sourced well, and is easy to consume and make purchase decisions.

Most of the products featured here have been tried and tested by myself, and my team. In the case that we haven’t tried the specific product, we rely on accurate feedback from real customers and in-depth research.

We have ties to supplement and fitness companies, and often get to test new and exclusive products, and see how they hold up with the mainstream products on the market.

We are not a big brand or are we part of an existing brick and mortar store. We are a small company that’s passionate about health and fitness.

We want this site to be a place for you to find useful and easy to consume information, so when it comes to making decisions about which product to choose, you can choose the best one for you!

No Shady Sh*t Here

The Fitness Industry, in general, is full of shady shit. With the rise of Social Media, and especially Instagram, makes it much easier for people to portray someone that they are not.

To not fall into this trap, we’ve come up with our own set of rules we focus on abiding by:

1 – Authenticity

Being successful in Fitness (or in General) is usually a long, and often times lonely road. It takes hard work, dedication, and discipline like no other.

We won’t bullshit you with articles like “How To Get Abs In 7 Days” or “Get Fit In 30 Days”.

We won’t ever sugarcoat anything, but rather provide you with the most effective (and sometimes difficult) strategies to implement which will give you the best, long-term results.

2 – Back To Basics

There are many different ways to approach training and diet…

Whether you’re into training in:

  • CrossFit
  • Sports
  • Olympic Lifting
  • Power Lifting
  • Bodybuilding

Or are on a diet like:

  • The Paleo Diet
  • Intermittent Fasting
  • The Atkins Diet
  • The Ketogenic Diet
  • … or even the Carnivore Diet

We have an appreciation for the fundamentals, for the raw basics that have proven from Day 1 to get results.

We love to keep it super simple. We prefer to go back to basics like counting macros, get your nutrients from proper food and lifting heavy ass weights.

You will find that we sometimes like to combine the new with the old, but only in the case that it will be much more beneficial.

For example, the majority of our articles will be on Supplements. As more research had been done, products have consistently evolved to the point where Supplements is an integral part of making gains.

Don’t get it twisted. It’s a supplement for a reason, which means it’s designed to enhance your results, assuming you’re already on track with your diet and training.
